I’ve heard that people with candida should avoid sugar, glucose, etc. because it provides food for the yeast within your body. I’ve also heard that eating the probiotic bacteria will help to reduce it due to competition for nutrients within your intestines. You can get those from yogurt with “active cultures” in it. I’d double check with a doctor or dietician to be sure, though.
What do you think? Answer below!
You should limit your carboydrates, and if you do eat carbs they must not be simple carbs; white sugar, white flour and pasta. If you eat fruit then granny smith apples are okay to eat.
With candida your body needs to be cleansed thoroughly, because more than likely it is not only in your gut, but in your blood and organs. A good herbal cleanse/ detox is recommended. Pau’darco is good for candida, oil of oregano, and there are a host of herbs to help with this condition. You also need to overload your body with good bacteria(probiotics) consistently. Your intestines is about 80 percent of your immune system and for you to get this problem in the first place your immunity must be low.
There is a company that i will recommend called custom probiotics, you can go to their website. they sell good quality probiotics for this issue. I was also told some good things by some users on here that may help you. I am going to star your question and hope that some others will come to help you.
Good Luck.
Try to avoid foods high in simple carbohydrate such as refined sugars as Thrush thrives on sugar. These foods include fruit juices, sucrose, biscuits, cakes made from white flour and sugar, honey, white breads and pastries etc.
Also, try to limit (but not completely eliminate) foods such as potatoes, and fruits such as oranges, kiwi fruit, pineapple, lemons and limes, grapefruit, tomatoes. Re-introduce these foods slowly after about 1 month of treatment.
Eating a lot of garlicy food and yoghurt can help the healing of Thrush.
You should eat whatever the doctor who diagnosed your condition tells you to eat.
You did get diagnosed by a proper medical doctor didn’t you? You didn’t just ‘decide’ you had candida did you?
Ask your doctor, the one who diagnosed you with it.
stay away from sugar and sweets, no candy, no soda etc
eat sugar free yougurt. may not taste great, but the active cultures will help kill of the candida
it taskes a few weeks to cure
